Michael has been a Phillips resident for 18 years, but began camping at the lakes and hitting snowmobile trails "up north" almost 40 years ago, as a kid with his family. He has an insider's knowledge of the lakes and rivers in northern Wisconsin, and especially enjoys fishing and wakeboarding. Hunting is also one of his hobbies, and last year he shot his first bear. The rug will be delivered soon!
In addition to a love for the outdoors, Mike loves sports and plays volleyball both on the court, as well as back in the outdoors--on grass and sand. He enjoyed coaching JV girls volleyball for the Phillips Loggers for several years. But wait, there's more…he's also in a band, playing bass guitar in the worship band at his church.
Mike and his wife, Jill, live in an almost completed fixer-upper, on Solberg Lake just outside of Phillips, WI. They have a 3 year old Golden Retriever, Nashi, who sadly does NOT like to swim! She prefers running and chasing snowballs on the frozen lake, and is Mike's constant companion for ice fishing. Mike and Jill are fostering 3 young kids ages 3, 2 and 1, and are also looking to adopt in the future.
Mike worked building homes for many years, and got into real estate in 2009. He is definitely an optimist! Through hard work, persistence, and incredible customer service, he has not only survived building up his business in real estate during one of the worst times in recent history, but last year nearly doubled his sales from the previous year.
Customers say that they appreciate Mike's friendly demeanor, his knowledge of the 90+ lakes in the county, and his lightning-quick response time. If you are looking to buy, sell, or want a market analysis of your home or land, give Mike a call!
